Or are they playing a murdererous game with the world at stake? This darkly comic satire probes the cost of sanity among men of science and whether it is the mad who are the truly sane.

Includes an interview with Richard Rhodes, Americas preeminent historian of the nuclear age. He is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Making of the Atomic Bomb, and its companion book, Dark Sun: The Making of the Hydrogen Bomb. In addition to editing or authoring more than twenty other books, Rhodes has been a visiting scholar at Harvard and MIT, and has testified before the U.S. Senate on nuclear energy.
